If you are up around Gatlinburg, Tennessee and you want to see the Great Smoky Mountains, you definitely need to check out Ober Gatlinburg. You board a Cable Car in Gatlinburg that takes you up into the Smoky Mountains. The views from the cable car are breathtaking as you cross over deep valleys on your way up to the top.
Once you reach the top there are many things there to do. Aside from Skiing and Snowboarding there are amusement rides and an arcade. There is also an indoor Ice Skating Rink if you are into ice skating. There are many fun activities for the kids. There is a shooting range, a velcro wall jump, water rides and many other things.You can also take a ride on the South’s longest Chair Lift. That’s my favorite, I go for the views. If the views from the cable car isn’t enough for you then the sky lift offers some excellent views.
Ober Gatlinburg is truly one of the fine places that you can go and take your family and really make a day out of it. There is fun for the whole family. You can park right in downtown Gatlinburg and jump on the cable car.
